And Now An Essay

I wrote and in the end it petered into Nandermo. Twenty-four pages of poetry, and then Nandermo entered the scene so next a fic, then a song about them, and now an essay. Makes me think of other scenes that start out as robust sallies and peter into dull-eyed avarice. Wearing heels and hosiery, she entered the casino looking around and checking out all the glamorous people. By the end of the night, she had taken up the slumped position at the penny slots she would occupy for the rest of the weekend.

. . . . . . . .
